Padre Ticket Raffle
OK here's a plug for TC's current fundraiser.
She's selling raffle tickets to the Padres vs Rockies game at Petco Park on Saturday, Sept 22, 2007. The winner gets 4 tickets for seats in the Toyota Section, Section 208 (between 3rd base and home plate). Drawing is on Thursday, Sept 13.
$1 per ticket
$5 for 6 tickets
$10 for 12 tickets
$20 for 30 tickets
$50 for 100 tickets
Any takers?
I took TC to her first Padres game this last Aug 4. This is the one where Barry Bonds hit his record-tying home run. The Padres won in 12 innings and there were fireworks afterward (around 10:45pm so it was a LONG night). TC's eyes were glazed over by then and she fell asleep immediately in the car. However, it was a good night to have as your first ballgame.

Not bad, huh? I spent about $30 on TC's fundraiser and won Charger tickets that are selling for about $150. That's so cool. They're "west-endzone-nosebleed" seats, but hey, why not?
